Metrocem to Produce LG Mobile Phone in Domestic Territory (Kaler Kantho)

Managing Director of Metrocem Group, Md Shahidullah said that, foreign technology related companies are interested to invest in technologies sector of Bangladesh for declaring 1% import duty on 94 parts of technology products in our budget. Metrocem is currently manufacturing Global Standardcement, rod and environment friendly auto bricks under one roof. Presently, Metrocem, the renowned company of Bangladesh is expanding its business in information and technology sector. Managing Director of Metrocem Group, Md Shahidullah also mentioned that, Metrocem wants to produce mobile phones in Bangladesh through joint venture with Korean multinational company LG Electronics. In addition to this, Metrocem will bring its own brand mobile phones very soon.
